Beautiful Darkness by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl, the sequel to Beautiful Creatures. After reading the first book my expectations were high for the second, and simply put they were not met. Beautiful Darkness is well written and easy to read, but lacks in excitement. The authors brought in the dreaded love triangle. One of my biggest pet peeves with books is when a character dies and then they authors bring them back. And that's exactly what happened in this sequel. The ending to this book was unsatisfactory. I do plan on reading the third one, and I hope it will be better than this. Maybe I just expected too much.
The Beautiful Chaos review may not come for about a week due to the fact I have to wait until Sunday to get it and I have to read The Great Gatsby (review to come on that as well) for my jr. research paper.
